The Partnership for People with Disabilities,Virginia's University Center for Excellence on Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD), located within VCU's School of Education is hiring an evaluation and research associate. This is a 12-month, term (non-tenure) faculty position starting in the fall of 2021. The mission of the Partnership for People with Disabilities is to partner with stakeholders in the intellectual and developmental disability community and faculty and staff throughout Virginia Commonwealth University to provide culturally competent and engaged research, education, direct services, and information sharing to ensure people with disabilities and their families can live, learn, work and play together as a part of their community.

The research and evaluation associate will consult with staff and directors of multiple programs and projects to build, adapt, implement evaluation and to disseminate evaluation results. Ideal applicants will also have experience planning and conducting research, including extensive knowledge of quantitative and qualitative analyses. Knowledge of evaluation and research will also be used to support the development of proposals for external funding. Candidates will need to have demonstrated evaluation experience, ideally in the support of positive outcomes for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Virginia Commonwealth University is a public, T1 research institution that was founded in 1838. It has a total student enrollment of over 29,000, and it is situated on a 168 acre urban campus in Richmond, Virginia. VCU is designated by the Carnegie Foundation as "Community Engaged" University.

Required qualifications for this position include a Master's degree (Ph.D preferred) in program evaluation, public administration, psychology or other related fields and five years professional experience designing and implementing research and evaluation projects using qualitative and quantitative methods.
