Project Coordinator, Path to Independence, College of Education, University of Nevada, Reno, NV

The College of Education at the University of Nevada, Reno is hiring for a Project Coordinator (Employment & Independent Living Coordinator), for the Path to Independence project in the Nevada Center for Excellence in Disabilities. This is a full-time Administrative Faculty position. This position will utilize critical thinking skills to help students in the Path to Independence program secure meaningful and customized employment within the university and the surrounding community. This position will work closely with students, staff, and local business owners to help negotiate employment within the Reno area that is of interest to a particular student. This position will also work with students to develop skills and supports required for their desired level of independence with employment, housing and meaningful social opportunities.
