AUCD's National Center on Disability in Public Health is seeking a Membership and Marketing Manager to support a one-year project: Vaccinating People with Disabilities: Implementing Strategies for Equitable Access. The purpose of this project is to ensure equitable vaccination access for people with disabilities by supporting disability-led organizations in developing and implementing local plans to vaccinate people with disabilities for COVID-19.  

As the Membership & Marketing Manager, you will ensure that vaccine confidence activities are captured and linked across AUCD's teams, the AUCD network, and partners, and assist in developing and capturing outreach processes and outcomes data. You will also share summaries with project and technical assistance staff on a regular basis to facilitate more real-time decision making and targeted outreach for vaccine confidence activities.

This is a temporary position with an expected twelve (12) month assignment contingent upon continued funding through a federal cooperative agreement with the CDC.  The salary range for this position is $73,500 to $75,705.  This position is eligible for remote work.

Position Requirements

You will be qualified for this position if you have a bachelor's degree in a related field and at least three (3) years of relevant experience working in marketing and communications. You must also possess a strong proficiency in current technologies and tools to communicate and exchange information as well as Microsoft Office software (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint).

If you are preferred candidate, you will also have prior experience working with grantees at federal or state levels, the AUCD Network, UCEDD, LEND or IDDRC, and/or people with disabilities

Lastly, you must possess the following attributes, demonstrated through your prior experience or education:

 

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to influence and engage a wide range of partners at all levels and learning styles and needs.
  • Sound judgment, solid decision-making skills, and strong emphasis of upholding confidentiality and integrity.
  • A commitment to ensuring diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) is applied in all practices and approaches (including plain language).
  • Skill in overseeing simultaneous, complex activities that have multiple components.
  • Skill in establishing and cultivating strong relationships internally and externally in order to reach common goals and objectives.
  • The ability to convey ideas and to respond appropriately to key stakeholders.
  • Skill in organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
