Speech and Language Pathologist, Center for Disabilities, Sanford School of Medicine, University of South Dakota, Sioux Falls, SD

The Center for Disabilities at the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine is seeking a speech and language pathologist to serve in a dynamic multifaceted role.

This position will provide training, technical assistance, and clinical services to professionals and families in establishing evidence-based interventions for individuals with developmental disabilities. The position will be responsible for the coordination, information dissemination, and implementation of professional development training opportunities and will also coordinate other training events and participate in diagnostic clinics within the scope of their field. This is a full-time, 12-month position.

Candidates for this position should have the following qualifications:

  1. Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology and licensed/license eligible
    Experience working with children and adolescents with special health care needs and their families, specifically Autism Spectrum Disorder and related neurodevelopmental disorders
  2. Experience in the differential diagnosis of a variety of conditions, and working within an interdisciplinary team
  3. Additional professional experience with clinical training, research, and supervision required
  4. Candidates with experience working with Native American communities are preferred.
