The University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) College of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics in Memphis, TN is seeking a full-time BC/BE Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician to join the Division of Developmental Pediatrics in a non-tenure track faculty position (Assistant or Associate Professor rank) with academic rank commensurate with experience and credentials.

This position offers a great opportunity for a Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician to join an expanding group and to participate in a wide variety of educational, clinical, research, and community outreach activities in several settings.

Our Department of Pediatrics is a part of the Le Bonheur Children's Hospital, which has been named a Best Children's Hospital by U.S. News & World Report for the tenth consecutive year. Le Bonheur is a large regional tertiary care hospital with more than 750 medical staff representing 45 pediatric specialties.

The UTHSC Center on Developmental Disabilities, also within the Department of Pediatrics and with additional faculty and staff, is a federally-funded University Center of Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD) and home to a Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and related Disabilities (LEND) interdisciplinary graduate-level training program. More than 20 long-term LEND trainees (and additional shorter-duration trainees) are enrolled and nearly 40 Pediatric and Medicine/Pediatric residents complete a one-month clinical rotation with us annually.

Memphis is a great place to live and raise a family, with features of large metropolitan areas (multiple universities, professional and collegiate sports, musical events, Broadway touring shows, great food), but some of the charms of a smaller town (friendly neighborhoods, historic sites, local art, and barbeque events to name a few).
