Position Summary

A Project Manager position is available in the Center for Precision Medicine and Genomics (CPMG) at Columbia University Medical Center (http://columbiamedicine.org/cpmg/). We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic individual to join our research effort investigating issues of trust in precision medicine research among people with disabilities and racial/ethnic minorities. Our research more broadly focuses on the ethical, legal, and social implications (ELSI) of genomic and precision medicine research.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage all aspects of a research project.
Responsible for recruitment of research participants for online focus groups and surveys.
Perform online survey programming and data monitoring.
Facilitate work with collaborators and community partners and organize relevant workshops.
Assist with data analysis and manuscript writing.
Responsible for day-to-day study activities and for overall study progress toward timeline.
Perform additional related duties as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education, training and experience, plus three years of related experience
Master's degree in social sciences, public health or other related field would substitute for experience
