- Position Summary
A Project Manager position is available in the Center for Precision Medicine and Genomics (CPMG) at Columbia University Medical Center (http://columbiamedicine.org/cpmg/). We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic individual to join our research effort investigating issues of trust in precision medicine research among people with disabilities and racial/ethnic minorities. Our research more broadly focuses on the ethical, legal, and social implications (ELSI) of genomic and precision medicine research.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of a research project.
- Responsible for recruitment of research participants for online focus groups and surveys.
- Perform online survey programming and data monitoring.
- Facilitate work with collaborators and community partners and organize relevant workshops.
- Assist with data analysis and manuscript writing.
- Responsible for day-to-day study activities and for overall study progress toward timeline.
- Perform additional related duties as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education, training and experience, plus three years of related experience
- Master's degree in social sciences, public health or other related field would substitute for experience

- Data analysis skills (SPSS, SAS)

Successful completion of applicable compliance and systems training requirements
