the Research Coordinator I will be primarily responsible for study coordination duties, including data collection and management, coordinating a clinical intervention study, and conducting focus groups. The Research Coordinator I will also be responsible for qualitative interviews with parents and educators; developing and managing IRB materials and applications; coordinating data entry into department databases; maintenance of existing databases and development of new databases and data linking procedures; executing data analysis and data queries; and assisting in creating scientific presentations and publications.


  1. Conduct qualitative focus groups among parents and educators
  2. Coordinate a pilot randomized clinical trial
  3. Prepare and submit materials for IRB applications and renewals.
  4. Enter clinical data into department databases.
  5. Organize, tabulate, and summarize data sets for statistical analysis by clinicians and research faculty, and assist with preliminary data analysis.
  6. Design, develop, and maintain effective online data collection systems using appropriate software (e.g., Qualtrics, Sharepoint) for studies and departmental initiatives, including generating and distributing summary reports of responses.
  7. Create databases and generate data forms in accordance with clinic needs and research study design, ensuring that databases and all data records are stored according to HIPAA and IRB requirements.
  8. Assist Manager of Neuropsychology Research Operations with other tasks as needed.



  • BA/BS required.
  • BA/BS in Psychology or related field preferred.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Coursework in statistics, experimental research, database management, and/or programming are preferred.


  • Must have experience with IRB applications
  • Must have experience with study coordination
  • Experience with manipulating datasets in a clinical or research setting, basic statistical analysis, and creating and managing databases is preferred
