Speech Language Pathologist - Portland, Oregon

Location: Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon 

The Child Development and Rehabilitation Center (CDRC) at Doernbecher Children's Hospital at Oregon Health and Science University has a current opening for a pediatric speech language pathologist with specific interest and expertise in cleft palate and craniofacial disorders, feeding/swallowing disorders, and neurodevelopmental disorders. Applicants with experience in bilingualism and/or assistive technology are also encouraged to apply. 

The Child Development and Rehabilitation Center is an outpatient center with a focus on interdisciplinary care of children with neurodevelopmental disabilities. The CDRC is housed in the Institute of Development and Disability which is also home to our UCEDD and LEND programs. Our speech language pathologists mentor LEND trainees and collaborate with UCEDD faculty.

 

Qualifications:

  • The SLP will hold a minimum of a master's degree in SLP.
  • Doctoral degree preferred.
  • Must hold current CCC/SLP and hold or be eligible for Oregon SLP licensure.
  • Seeking an SLP with a minimum of 5 years pediatric clinical experience serving children with complex conditions, with a specific interest and focus on children with cleft palate and craniofacial disorders, feeding/swallowing disorders, and neurodevelopmental disorders.
  • Applicants with experience in bilingualism and/or assistive technology are also encouraged to apply.
  • Preference for an SLP with experience working on interdisciplinary teams, utilizing a family-centered model of care.
