Provide intensive classroom and community setting/worksite behavioral and task specific support services, including, but not limited to: skills training, task analysis, situational assessments, community and social integration, travel training and development of supportive tools as needed for these activities. Develop and utilize positive behavioral strategies and tools to maximize success in the Abilities classroom, in the community and at worksites. Strategies to include, but not be limited to: data collection and analyzation to identify needs, visual/picture schedules, teaching skills and actions, prompting, time tables, break schedules. Reward systems, student choice of activity, social stories. Provide individualized behavior support including, but not limited to: ABA analysis and techniques to promote positive actions and behaviors and to identify, manage and extinguish undesirable ones. Perform functional behavioral analysis as needed to identify triggers of undesirable behaviors in different settings. Perform interventions when undesirable behaviors arise to include, but not be limited to: formal/informal reward systems, written, verbal, physical interventions as needed.


Qualifications & Education:

A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent and prior experience working with adolescents or adults with disabilities through job coaching, job development, prior ABA experience, or other business experience preferred.  Ability to travel locally is essential to this position.
