Open Rank Psychologist, Clinical Educator Position, Autism experience:

The Center for Development and Disability (CDD) in the Department of Pediatrics, at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center, School of Medicine, is seeking full-time faculty Clinical Psychologists in the Clinician Educator track to work as part of the Autism and other Developmental Disabilities Division (AODD) and Clinical Evaluation Services Unit (CESU) at the CDD. The CDD is seeking to fill this position with license-eligible Clinical Psychologists with demonstrated experience and knowledge in the areas of Autism Spectrum Disorders.  This position offers experience working with under-served and rural populations in community and home-based programs and demonstrate an interest in developing applied research in the areas of ASD and/or other neurodevelopmental concerns, particularly with underserved populations specific to New Mexico and the southwest.  This position will work as part of an inter-disciplinary diagnostic team for individuals referred for a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and will have experience with evidence-based interventions and consultation approaches relevant to either or both diagnoses/disorders. Additionally, this position has teaching responsibilities through clinical supervision of psychology interns and postdoctoral fellows, as well as through community training programs. This position also requires supporting existing research projects, as well as include the opportunity to develop individual research funding over time.
