The Center for Disabilities and Development is seeking a Manager, Rehabilitation Therapies to provide management for all aspects of the Center for Disabilities and Development's (CDD) Physical and Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology and Audiology departments. Responsibilities include providing clinical and managerial leadership; managing fiscal resources; serving as liaison with hospital and community partners; leading performance improvement initiatives; participating in strategic planning processes; supervising OT/PT, Speech and Audiology staff members; managing staff training, competency and performance and maintaining an appropriate clinical caseload. Opportunities available to participate in and/or lead research initiatives and oversee graduate-level trainees and fellows.
Position requires a minimum of three years of experience in one of the therapy fields and experience in leadership/management roles. Desirable qualifications are experience with pediatrics patients with developmental disabilities and diseases of childhood; mobility assessment and management of a clinical department.

The CDD is Iowa's University Center for Excellence on Disabilities and is also home for Iowa's LEND (Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities) program and has provided outstanding interdisciplinary training in neurodevelopmental disabilities for over two decades.
