  • This is a full-time position and the fellow will work for the Institute for Human Development which is housed in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences.
  • This position is for one year.  Continued employment after this time period depends upon availability of funding, satisfactory performance, and Institute needs.
  • The position is not subject to layoff or recall status.

Job Description
The Institute for Human Development, College of Social and Behavioral Sciences, Northern Arizona University, is looking for a talented postdoctoral fellow to join its research team, under the direction of Dr. Kelly Roberts.  This position requires a motivated and enthusiastic individual with experience in grant writing, research methodology, and advanced statistics.  The fellow will contribute, as an active research team member, to multiple grant writing opportunities, project coordination, and manuscript development.  The fellow will be expected to lead as well as contribute to grant writing, manuscript development, and presentations at state, national, and international conferences.

Minimum Qualifications
PhD in Psychology, Special Education, Social Work, Economics, or other Related Disciplines. 

Preferred Qualifications
A record of accomplishments and publications.
Individuals who are ABD may apply.

Salary
Commensurate with experience.
**The starting salary will be determined by the qualifications of the selected applicant balanced with departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information.
