The Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities, a collaboration between UT Southwestern Medical Center and Children's Health, provides comprehensive interdisciplinary care to children with autism spectrum and related neurodevelopmental disorders and their families. The Center maintains a large multidisciplinary evaluation and treatment service, including providers from the following disciplines: psychology, neuropsychology, psychiatry, neurology, speech pathology, behavior analysis, and social work. Additionally, the Center has an active clinical research program focusing on autism spectrum disorders and rare variant populations.

Primary Activities: Clinical responsibilities include participation in psychological and interdisciplinary diagnostic evaluations of children suspected of having an autism spectrum disorder from 1-18 years of age. The position will also involve the supervision of clinical psychology practicum and internship students, as well as medical residents and psychiatry fellows. In-service trainings and community outreach activities are also required. Other possible opportunities include providing treatment services within our multidisciplinary clinic and conducting clinical assessments/interventions for individuals with ASD and related disorders via ongoing clinical research studies.

Qualifications:
Candidate must hold a PhD or PsyD in clinical psychology or school psychology from an APA accredited program and be licensed to practice in TX or license eligible. Clinical experience working with children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder is required. Familiarity and training in the use of gold standard diagnostic tools (ADOS-2; ADI-R) is preferred. Faculty rank is open, and will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications.
