Full-Time Contract Closeout Specialist - VisionCorps, Philadelphia, PA

VisionCorps a values driven organization providing exceptional rehabilitation, education and employment services for people who are blind is hiring. Our Services Department in the Northeast Philadelphia facility is looking for individuals possessing strong analytical and problem solving skills to work in a professional team environment. The primary duties of this position requires the individual to complete contract closeout processes as required by standard operating procedures and as directed by the supervisor. Prepare closeout documents for contracting officer review and approval as required by SOP.

VisionCorps' employment goals are to hire individuals who are blind; therefore, upon hire confirmation of legal blindness will be required. Applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in any field and/or a combination of education and sufficient work experience in an office setting. Completion of Defense Acquisition University coursework is required prior to start date. Eligible applicants must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and have the ability to use assistive technology such as screen readers and/or magnification software. Must be able to read, write and speak English and successfully pass federal background check including but not limited to credit, education and criminal. US citizenship is a requirement; individuals with dual citizenship or no citizenship will not pass the federal investigation. This position offers competitive hourly wages based on experience.
