The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) is a private, non-profit organization formed in 1979. We are the leader in developing standards to advance and promote patient safety, quality care, and value for ambulatory health care through peer-based accreditation processes, education, and research. A certificate of accreditation is awarded to organizations that are found to be in compliance with AAAHC Standards.

We are currently seeking a Project Manager for our Skokie, IL office. The role of this newly created position will be to design, plan, coordinate and execute projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors and/or consultants to deliver projects according to plan, on time within budget and scope. The role also involves interaction with development, technology infrastructure, business operations, accreditation services, Surveyors, organizations, and other business staff to drive project cohesiveness. The Project Manager will define the project's objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.

Core Competencies:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage team dynamics
• Strong written communication to create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
• Use of project scopes and objectives, involving stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility
• Use of verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs
• Detailed project planning and demonstrated ability of on-time delivery of projects, within scope and 
   budget
• Use of risk management techniques to minimize project risks
• Business analysis ability

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in business or related field required
• Minimum of 5 years project managing development projects required
• Professional Certification in Project Management (PMP) required
• Solid technical background, with understanding of software development and web technologies
• Understanding of data, data transformations, and conversions.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically MS Project (or a similar project tracking 
   tool)

Physical Requirements:

• Sit/stand/walk 7.5+ hours per day
