  2. Technical assistance
  3. Peer learning

This website was developed for anyone who is working to increase the ability of states and jurisdictions to develop and implement systems of care for children and youth with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities (ASD/DD). It will also be of use to state and local decisionmakers, public health professionals and leaders, family and community leaders, students, policymakers, Autistic adolescents, young adults, and adults, and anyone who wants to center Autistic voices in their work and co-design programs and policies with Autistic people.

You can access the new SPHARC website at https://spharc.amchp.org/. You may also contact the SPHARC team at [email protected] for additional questions or information requests.

In Case You Missed It—SPHARC Autistic Faculty presentation at 2022 AUCD Conference

The SPHARC team was excited to have a panel presentation at the 2022 AUCD Conference. The panel, The Autistic Faculty: Creating a Model To Infuse & Elevate Lived Experience Year-Round, featured the three members of the pilot cohort of the SPHARC Autistic Faculty. The panel discussed how the Autistic Faculty is being co-designed with Autistic people leading the conversation, talk about advantages of involving Autistic talent (and other people with lived experience) in your work, and shared tips/strategies to find, approach, and compensate Autistic talent.
