In Appreciation of Your Ongoing Leadership and Dedication
to Diversity and Cultural and Linguistic Competence

"Through the training, consultation, technical assistance and translation work of the Center for Building Research and the Great Lakes ADA Center, as well as representation of many diverse cultures in the faculty and staff, IDHD's commitment to the values of cultural diversity and competence is evident. In addition, the center focuses on linking research and practice in addressing multicultural issues, designing clinical programs to meet the needs of its diverse population, and furthers its Assistive Technology Unit to provide services to underserved individuals with development disabilities in the community. IDHD has demonstrated leadership in diversity as reflected in all aspects of its programs, especially in its research, clinical and academic programs."
