"Dr. Hooper has made enormous contributions to the disability community. At the University of North Carolina, for many years, he has been viewed as THE pediatric neuropsychologist for children with developmental disabilities. Dr. Hooper's work has laid the important groundwork for our program at the Carolina Institute of Developmental Disabilities, played a major role in the development of the North Carolina work force in developmental disabilities and contributed important, new knowledge about the neuropsychological function of children with developmental disabilities."
