The Paul V.Sherlock Center on Disabilities at Rhode Island College, Rhode Island's UCEDD, was established in 1993. The Center has grown from three staff in 1993 to more than 60 staff in 2013. In celebration of this anniversary, the Sherlock Center has developed an expanded annual report. This report is intended to illustrate the depth and breadth of the Sherlock Center's lifespan activities.

During the past five years, more than 138,000 Rhode Islanders have participated in Sherlock Center activities. The report contains some outcome data that illustrates the Center's impact in such areas as early intervention, positive behavioral supports, inclusion, family support, supports to students with low incidence disabilities, recruitment of a more diverse workforce for disability-related professions, accessible community leisure and cultural activities, and other areas. The report also includes data that documents some continuing needs, especially in areas such as integrated individual employment. The cover of the report is a picture of the Sherlock Center's new building.
