Betsey Benson, PhD, director of the Adult Behavior Support Services Program at The Ohio State University Nisonger Center (OH UCEDD/LEND) and associate professor of clinical psychiatry and clinical psychology at Ohio State, has been elected as "Fellow" of the American Psychological Association. Fellow status is awarded on the basis of evidence of outstanding contribution in the field of psychology. Dr. Benson provides psychological services in Ohio State's Adult Down Syndrome Clinic and Nisonger's Dual Diagnosis (MI/DD) Clinic. She is also a Fellow of the American Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
