Employment
October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month.  NDEAM is a national campaign that raises awareness about disability employment issues and celebrates the many contributions of America's workers with disabilities. For more information, the U.S. Department of Labor has developed these NDEAM resources, as well as an NDEAM poster.  This year's theme is "A Strong Workforce is an Inclusive Workforce: What Can YOU Do?"

Medicaid and the Election
Kaiser Health News recently published an article discussing what the outcome of the presidential election might mean for Medicaid.  The article explains President Obama's Medicaid policies related to health care reform and presidential candidate Mitt Romney's proposal to repeal the Affordable Care Act and convert Medicaid into a block grant to states.
