Allen C. Crocker Speaker Series at the MA ICI UCEDD/LEND

The Allen C. Crocker Speaker Series is designed for parents and family members seeking quality information from experts on a range of topics related to Down syndrome. These lectures, honoring the legacy of Dr. Crocker, can be viewed, for free, at the URL above.

Upcoming lectures include:

  • August 7, Tuesday, 10:00-11:30am: Cathy Hickey, Med, Information Specialist from MA Family Voices will present: "Applying for Masshealth:  Taking out the Fear and the Confusion" 
  • September 4, Tuesday 10:00-11:30am: Advanced Fetal Care Center Team Members will present "An Overview of Prenatal Testing and Care"
  • October 2nd at 10:00am:  Leslie Hughes from Massachusetts Advocates from Children will present a talk on "The Massachusetts Anti-bullying Law: IEP and Schoolwide Strategies to Prevent Bullying of Students with Disabilities"
  • October 25, Thursday, 1:00-2:30pm: Dacha Weir, MD will present "Celiac Disease in Children with Down Syndrome"
  • November 6th, Tuesday, 10:00-11:30am: Emily Davidson MD, MPH and Angela Lombardo of the DS Program will present: "Your New Baby is Here:  What You Should Know"
  • December 4th, Tuesday, 10:00-11:30am: Nicole Baumer, MD will present "Infantile Spasms and Seizures in Children with DS"
