The University of Alabama at Birmingham's LEND program sponsored the Neurodevelopment/Simpson-Ramsey Symposium which featured seminars from local and invited speakers, and a poster session for individuals involved in basic or clinical research related to normal or disordered brain development or child health. Trainees from the Pediatric Pulmonary Centers won this year's clinical research poster.  The topic of the poster was: "The Role of Insurance Status in the Perception of Family Centered Care in Children with Special Health Care Needs". Dr. Troxler served as the PPC faculty advisor for the poster project.
