AUCD Partnership with Exceptional Parent

This past fall, AUCD celebrated its 40th anniversary-a time to reflect on the accomplishments of the last four decades, face the challenges of today, and imagine the future.  Throughout this milestone year, please look for future articles in Exceptional Parent that highlight and celebrate the great strengths and capacity of our AUCD Network and share strategies in research, education, and service that advance the journey towards equity and excellence.

Your Contribution

If you would like to further your information dissemination to parents and families, you are invited to contribute an article to be highlighted in an upcoming issues of EP Magazine.  AUCD and EP Magazine welcome submissions which promote any aspect of the AUCD Member Network or individual Center or Program's work in areas such as self-determination, family-centered care, cultural competence in disability services and supports throughout the life span. Articles that summarize research finding or promising or evidence based practices in early intervention, school aged supports, transition or adult services and supports are also welcome. Monthly articles should be about 1800 words, written for a lay audience, and submitted by the 5th of the month for publication the following month.  To contribute an article, please contact Adriane Griffen at
