Kendra Gottsleben, Social Media Coordinator for the SD UCEDD, Center for Disabilities at the Sanford School of Medicine within the University of South Dakota was recently featured as one of the inspirational speakers at the Sioux Falls TEDx event.  TEDx was created in the spirit of TED's mission, "ideas worth spreading." The program is designed to give communities, organizations and individuals the opportunity to stimulate dialogue through TED-like experiences at the local level and is marketed as "riveting talks by remarkable people".  The TED* celebrated format is a suite of short, carefully prepared talks, demonstrations and performances on a wide range of subjects to foster learning, inspiration and wonder -- and to provoke conversations that matter.  The Sioux Falls TEDx experience featured selected people who have overcome tremendous challenges in their lives and by "telling their stories" are a huge inspiration to others.   Kendra's TEDx presentation can be viewed at the national TEDx site:
