CAHMI Call for Input: 2011 National Survey of Children's Health

The Maternal and Child Health Bureau (MCHB) and the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) are preparing to revise the National Survey of Children's Health (NSCH) instrument for a third round of data collection. They need your input to inform MCHB and NCHS staff, as well as a technical expert panel, during the planning process.

We would appreciate your answers to the following questions:
1. What are three ways the NSCH could be improved to make it more useful to your work?
2. What are three topics you feel are missing from the NSCH?
3. Which, if any, items from the NSCH could be removed?
4. Which, if any, items from the NSCH are problematic?
5. Do you have any other comments or suggestions for us to consider as we revise the NSCH?
