COLA Steering Committee

The Steering Committee shall consist of Co-Chairs, Secretary, three (3) Council members who serve as regional representatives and four (4) Council members who serve as liaisons to other AUCD Councils.  The purpose of the Steering Committee shall be:

  1. To assist co-chairs in overseeing general operations of the Council;
  2. To assist co-chair in the selection of Liaison assignments to AUCD committees, work groups, and task forces based upon a consumer interest survey;
  3. To serve as a needs assessment committee for future training assistance;
  4. To make recommendations for appointments to vacancies in unexpired positions;
  5. To provide a formal mechanism through which recommendations regarding council business may be made to the Council membership.

 

COLA Liaisons to AUCD Councils

COLA will designate representatives, who will serve as liaisons to the AUCD Councils. The designated representatives will serve on the Council Steering Committee along with the Council officers. The designated representatives include Multicultural Council, National Training Directors Council, Community Education and Dissemination Council, and Council on Research and Evaluation.

COLA Regional Representative to AUCD Councils

COLA will designate regional representatives, who work with the Community Advisory Councils of UCEDDs, LENDs, and IDDRCs in their specific region. COLA has 3 regions of the network: East, Central, and West.  The designated representatives will serve on the Council Steering Committee along with the Council officers.
