Patricia A. Morrissey Recieves Special Appreciation Award from AUCD

Patricia A. Morrissey, PhD, Commissioner, Administration on Developmental Disabilities received a Special Appreciaion Award today at the Association of University Centers on Disabilities (AUCD) Annual Meeting and Conference.

The award was presented by AUCD in appreciaion of all her efforts on behalf of persons with disabilities, their families, and the University Centers for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities.

In presenting the award, Lucille A. Zeph, EdD, Director of the Center for Inclusion & Disability Studies (ME-UCEDD), highlighted Dr. Morrissey's contributions to improve service systems for people with developmental disabilities through the administration of the Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act of 2000 (PL 106-402).
