25th International Neurotoxicology Conference Co-Sponsored by AUCD Members, Autism Speaks

Environmental Etiologies of Neurological Disorders: Scientific, Translational, and Policy Implications was held October 12-16, 2008, in Rochester, NY.  Sponsored in part by Autism Speaks, the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, the March of Dimes, Autism Society of America, the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, and the University of Rochester Medical Center, this five day conference was attended by over 200 people and covered such topics as: environmental toxicants, neurodegeneration and neurodevelopment, genetic basis of behavioral neurotoxicity, developmental neurotoxicity, and translational research that focuses on developing models to test new treatments for environmental exposures. A number of AUCD members participated and presented in this 25th anniversary conference.
