Funding is available for research and evaluation on the abuse, neglect, and exploitation of elderly individuals, older women, and residents of residential care facilities. Priority research areas include studies that identify and explore forensic markers of abuse, evaluate programs, examine risk and protective factors, and explore the nature, incidence, and prevalence of neglect.
