This FOA encourages projects that enhance the state-of-the-science on the molecular and cellular, genetic and epigenetic mechanisms involved in the production of adverse drug reactions in children. -Mechanism of Support. This FOA will utilize the NIH Research Project Grant (R01 grant) award mechanism and runs in parallel with an FOA of identical scientific scope, PAR-08-249 , that solicits applications under the R03 grant mechanism.
