The Campaign for Public Health is pleased to inform you that the Congressional Study Group on Public Health will hold their sixth briefing of 2007 on Monday, December 10 at 11 a.m. in Room 122 of the Cannon House Office Building.
This important public health briefing will focus on injury and violence prevention.
Confirmed speakers include:
- Dr. Ileana Arias, Director of the CDC's National Center for Injury Prevention and Control
- Jennifer Azzi, Community Ambassador for the Women's National Basketball Association and a former player with the Utah Silver Stars. Ms. Azzi is also an Olympic Gold Medalist (1996).
- Dr. Andrea C. Gielen, Professor and Director, Center for Injury Research and Policy at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health
