Today the NIH published RFA-AG-08-007 which solicits Cooperative Agreement (U01) grant applications proposing to design and conduct a national survey of disability trends and dynamics among the U.S. older population residing in community and institutional settings that is linked to CMS Medicare claims records. Applicants may propose completely new samples, supplements to existing samples, or may propose to conduct another wave of the NLTCS, or a successor study using the NLTCS sample. Applicants wishing to propose using the NLTCS longitudinal sample are referred to the RFA section entitled "Special Requirements."
