The Institute for Community Inclusion is now offering its suite of online courses created by for employment professionals to organizations with nine or fewer learners. The College of Employment Services for Individual Learners (CESIL) offers 17 courses with over 60 lessons related to employment services. Courses are packaged into six bundles, including bundles focused on job developmentbenefits planning, or working with specific populations. All 17 courses can also be purchased together. Training includes self-guided, online courses with video case studies and a problem-based approach to help employment professionals learn employer engagement, job development and creation, and job retention skills leading to successful integrated and competitive employment outcomes.

The core curriculum begins with the foundations of employment services, learning about the history of employment services as a profession, the key duties of the job, and how to support all individuals in pursuing meaningful, rewarding work, including people with disabilities and other barriers. Courses also include lessons about strategies for job development, how to respond to employers’ needs, performance coaching and support, and using work incentives to become self-sufficient.

Courses are designed to meet the needs of busy professionals and are available to the learner for a full year after purchase, allowing staff to complete the lessons at their own pace. We also offer an online curriculum and instructor-led supplement certified by the Association of Rehabilitation Educators (ACRE) that includes online courses and a fieldwork component.

Bundles are priced between $125–$250 each, and the full 17-course curriculum is $345. The ACRE bundle is $550 for 11 courses plus the field work component. The CESIL curriculum address all the APSE competencies that are reflected in the CESP exam, and each of the courses is approved for continuing education credits by the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC).
