Register for the Workforce Recruitment Program (WRP) to provide employment opportunities to your students with disabilities! This free program connects postsecondary students and recent graduates with disabilities to federal employers who are seeking to hire for internship and full-time positions. The WRP is managed by the U.S. Department of Labor and the Department of Defense.

Go to WRP.gov and click the “Coordinators Register Now” button to register your college or university today!

In order for your students and recent graduates with disabilities to apply and participate in WRP this fall, college or university staff must register your school for the program by June. Please register today or share the attached a flyer with your career and disability services offices and encourage staff to register.

Once registered, you will receive access to resources and optional webinars during the summer where you will learn more about the WRP, the federal hiring process, and preparing students for employment. Participating schools will be able to have their students and recent graduates with disabilities apply for the program beginning in late August.

About the Workforce Recruitment Program

Since 1995, the WRP has connected thousands of students with disabilities to federal and select private-sector job opportunities by working with more than 300 colleges and universities nationwide each year. There is no charge to participate. The WRP helps your students hone their resume-writing skills, engage in a one-on-one informational interview with a federal recruiter, and make their application and resume available for one year to more than 2,000 federal employers nationwide. Learn about some of our WRP success stories here.

We are excited to have your school join the WRP this year! If you have any questions, please contact us at [email protected].
