New Resources in Plain Language from UCEDD Resource Center

 

We are excited to share new resources available in plain language for UCEDDs. We continue to improve our language accessibility by making materials in plain language and easy read.

New Resources:

Easy-read UCEDD Resource Map- explainer of what is available from the UCEDD Resource Center Alphabet Soup for Consumer Advisory Committees- plain language explainer of common abbreviations in the disability community UCEDD Tip Sheet- Meaningfully Engaging Your Consumer Advisory Committee (CAC)- tip sheet improved to be in plain language

In addition to these new resources, we improved our language accessibility this year by:

• Making a plain language version of our evaluation survey
• Improving information on our website about the Leadership Academy
• Creating a plain language version of a training we do for UCEDDs
• Updating our Plain Language Toolkit for AUCD staff
