The AUCD Lifetime Achievement Award is presented to individuals making a lifetime commitment to serving people with developmental disabilities and their families.
Julie A. Fodor, PhD

"Dr. Julie Fodor has been an asset to Idaho's disability community for many years. She continues to drive projects and programs in the state of Idaho as the director of Idaho's UCEDD, The Center for Disability and Human Development (CDHD). She has been the director of the CDHD since 2001. Her time at the center has yielded many programs impacting many individuals with emphasis areas including Early Childhood, Autism supports in schools, behavior analysis, and PBIS. Her work has impacted educators and the education community as she has worked on the development and implementation of a Statewide Educational Support and Technical Assistance (SESTA) program. This program offers high quality PD and technical assistance across the state. Dr. Fodor has also instituted a M.Ed and Ph.D program with an emphasis on ASD in the department of Education at the University of Idaho and through the CDHD. Dr. Fodor has impacted Idaho with initiatives involving home and community based Supports, family support models, an Idaho training cooperative to support children's medicaid providers and behavior interventionists, self-determination waivers for self advocates, and more. It is safe to say that in Idaho's disability community every teacher, student, self advocate, and family member in Idaho is living a better quality of life that can be attributed to Dr. Fodor"
