2023 AUCD Board Elections: Official Ballot

 Dear UCEDD, LEND, and IDDRC Directors,

The Board Nominating Committee is pleased to present a slate of nominees for the below open Board positions:

Positions up for election

• Two (2) At-Large positions
• One (1) CEDC position

How does voting work?

The AUCD Board seeks diversity of perspective, skill, and background. These considerations include:

• The current makeup of the Board and the need to fill any holes and gaps.
• The member program type(s) that the candidate represents (IDDRC, UCEDD, LEND).
• The diversity of person nominated (e.g. race, ethnic, linguistic, cultural, LGBTQ+, gender, disability [intellectual, developmental and/or other disability]).
• Geography of where the program is located (region, rural/urban).

The slate below is divided into sections for each type of position with the candidates and their information under that section.

Before voting, we ask you to

1. View the statements of each candidate for each position.
2. Connect with your Council representatives if you have questions about the Council candidates.

• Learn more about the Community Education and Dissemination Council (CEDC).

When accessing the ballot to vote via the Submit Now button below, each LEND, UCEDD, and IDDRC may vote once for their top candidate(s) to fill any open position(s). If you lead more than one center or program (i.e. both a UCEDD and a LEND) you can vote once for each one you represent, but you must do a separate survey for each.

Deadline to vote is 11:59 pm ET, Monday, October 16, 2023.
