PATHS Program Begins their First Semester and First Day of Class as a 2-year Certificate Program

The two-year PATHS certificate program prepares graduates for employment in a career serving people with disabilities or working with children. Students have begun their first year and are excited to get started. After spending a few weeks this summer living in dorms on campus and learning how to navigate the buses and getting around on campus. Nisonger Center & JPMorgan Chase Collaboration

Six students from The Ohio State University and Columbus State Community College participated in paid internships through the Autism At Work program with JPMorgan Chase Consumer & Community Banking at their Polaris Campus. Students were excited to share how they applied their coursework (including but not limited to) programming, using Excel to organize and analyze data, creating workflows to automate processes, learning about business law concepts and developing presentations. In August, the Munroe-Meyer Institute held a two-week Hand Arm Bimanual Intensive Training (HABIT) camp. The institute has held the camp three times in the past.
