Futurist Ed Barlow will take us on a journey through the uncharted territory of the 21st century. He will explore the significant structural changes which are currently underway and consider the implications of these changes for those we serve and the AUCD mission. He will provide ways to better anticipate and prepare for that which is ahead in this insightful, thought provoking and entertaining session.

Ed Barlow is an internationally known and respected futurist. His knowledge and experience are incorporated into keynotes, think-tanks and strategic planning activities. Professionally he has held executive positions in business, healthcare, and education. His client list includes such organizations as the Federal Reserve Bank System; Six Sigma Academy of Europe; the American Hospital Association; Baxter International; US. Departments of Education, Health and Human Services, and Labor; American Association on Mental Retardation; Minnesota Health and Housing Alliance; American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging; American College of Healthcare Administrators; American Academy of Family Physicians; Pennsylvania Association of Resources for People w/Mental Retardation; Michigan State University College of Nursing. Ed Barlow is President of Creating the Future, Inc.
