Dr. Jacqueline Turner recognized as the 2020 Outstanding Staff by the College of Education and Human Development Staff Advisory Council The SAC Staff Awards are to recognize and reward staff in the College of Education & Human Development. These annual awards provide special recognition to four (4) individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the College of Education & Human Development through their dedication, initiative, achievements, enthusiasm and attitude in their work.

Dr. Turner received the Outstanding Staff Support Award for her service to several committees on campus, her dedication to the Center on Disability and Development, where she is a Research Specialist working on her research project - Basic Employability Skills Training Curriculum (BEST) for high school students, and for her support and dedication to the staff, students and faculty with whom she represents the Aggie core values of respect, excellence, leadership, loyalty, integrity and selfless service.

Dr. Turner is a first-generation TAMU graduate, first-generation American born, a Center on Disability and Development Research Specialist, Green Dot, Aggie Allies and a climate and diversity active employee, Dr. Turner takes a great deal of pride in her accomplishments at Texas A&M University and uses this pride to promote staff, students and faculty. She has a positive outlook and even during this pandemic her optimism and humor have been supportive to everyone.
