New Health Care Access Resources! Public Health is for Everyone Toolkit

April 3, 2020

The Public Health is for Everyone Toolkit serves to increase the capacity of public health professionals to create programs that benefit entire communities, including people who have disabilities. The online toolkit provides resources to enhance planning efforts in key issue areas such as emergency preparedness, nutrition, obesity, health care access, accessibility, and more. In our continued efforts to support the critical role that healthcare providers play in serving everyone in the community, AUCD's National Center on Disability in Public Health conducted an environmental scan for medical education resources that can enhance the inclusion of Developmental Disability (DD) in undergraduate, graduate and continuing medical education of physicians. The AUCD network and partners responded with an influx of resources that have been added to the Toolkit.

Visit the Health Care Access key issue area of the PHEtoolkit.org to see all the newly added resources! You can also submit resources to be included in the Toolkit.
