2020 AUCD Emerging Leaders Map Nomination Survey is Open!

AUCD is excited to announce that recruitment is now open for the 2020 AUCD Emerging Leaders Map!  This year's theme is "Enhancing Access: Opening Doors with and for People with Disabilities."

Our team is looking for each AUCD member Program or Center to nominate one (1) Emerging Leader to be on this year's AUCD Emerging Leaders Map. The Map will showcase the many ways that emerging leaders are driving change in their states/territories, and also to facilitate dialogue and collaboration between AUCD member Centers and Programs. 

"Access" can be defined in many ways, including but not limited to: access to appropriate medical care, mental health and community services, opportunities for meaningful employment, information, communication, research engagement, and physical spaces. 

If you know someone you would like to nominate or are interested in nominating yourself, please complete the nomination survey.  The deadline for nominations is Friday, January 10.

By the end of January 2020, the Emerging Leaders Interns (Meghan and Jazmin) will reach out to the selected nominees to inform them of the decision and to request their bios, headshots, and responses to a few interview questions (note: there will not be an actual interview, but rather an exchange of e-mails).
