IDHD Professor Dr. Grossman Receives Switzer Fellowship (IL UCEDD/LEND)

Institute on Disability and Human Development (IDHD) faculty Dr. Brian R. Grossman received the Switzer Distinguished Fellowship Award from NiDILRR. Dr. Grossman is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Disability and Human Development at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). He is trained in sociology and public health.

His research addresses the personal, familial and social impact of policies that promote justice and equity for older adults and people with disabilities. He is also currently thinking and writing about how the structure of Medicaid affects the cross-state move experiences of disabled people who use personal assistant services and their families. Congratulations Dr. Grossman!
