AMOUNT:
Contingent upon the availability of funds and the submission of a sufficient number of meritorious applications.

ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS:
Public/state-controlled institutions of higher education; private institutions of higher education; nonprofit organizations; small businesses; for-profit organizations; state governments; U.S. territories; Indian/Native American tribal governments; Indian/Native American tribal organizations; non-domestic entities; Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSIs); Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs); Tribally Controlled Colleges and Universities (TCCUs); Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian-serving institutions; regional organizations; and eligible agencies of the federal government.

SUMMARY:
Funding aims to encourage multidisciplinary, investigator-initiated basic and translational research in developmental pharmacology with particular emphasis on the role of ontogeny on drug metabolizing enzymes, transporters, receptors and signaling pathways activity across developmental periods from fetal life to adolescence.
