The UCEDD at Oregon Health & Science University is excited announce that the Sexual Health Resources hub, featured on our website, is live. Developed as part of the Sexual Health Equity for Individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (SHEIDD) project, a collaboration with Multnomah County in Portland, OR, this hub provides resources to promote holistic sexual health education for people with I/DD. Geared toward support providers, it features 9 sections to help audiences learn and develop skills to provide inclusive sexual health education for all.

The SHEIDD project's aim is to promote holistic sexual health education for young people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to support their relationship, sexual, and reproductive rights. The SHEIDD project is guided by the SHEIDD Community Advisory Group, which is made up of community members and organizations invested in the relationship, sexual and reproductive rights of people with I/DD. As part of the advisory group, the UCEDD supported the needs assessment, participated in reviewing resources and conceptualizing the online hub, and developed the hub webpages. The resources will continue to be hosted, updated, and expanded on the UCEDD's website. Check it out now!
