Research has shown that augmentative & alternative communication (AAC) can significantly increase self-expression, decrease behavior challenges, and improve overall communication in children with ASD/DD. Comunico con mi Equipo!, a web-based resource developed by the Mailman Center for Child Development, provides Spanish-speaking parents with information about AAC in Spanish.
