The Sonoran UCEDD Celebrates the Leadership of Founding Director, Leslie Cohen

With deep gratitude the Sonoran UCEDD announced that Leslie Cohen, JD, their inaugural director, will be ending eleven years of service in November 2018.
Leslie oversaw the initiation and development of the UCEDD's programs in professional education, employment, health, and aging. She shepherded its growth from a single core grant to a multi-million dollar center with numerous state and national grants and contracts. She was instrumental in the development of the UCEDD's collaborations statewide, nationally, and at the US-Mexico border. Leslie served on the board of the national Association of University Centers on Disabilities (AUCD) as both treasurer and president.
