The Administration on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (AIDD) is seeking a lead UCEDD to build the capacity of the National Network of UCEDDs to address the impact of Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS) through collaborative implementation of best and promising practices across federally-funded networks to support child, caregiver, and family outcomes in the local communities.

Deadline for proposals: October 26, 2018, 11:59 p.m. eastern time
Period of Performance:  November 15, 2018 through September 30, 2019
Award amount: $180,000; indirect costs capped at 8%
Eligible applicants: UCEDD grantees currently funded by AIDD

This National Training Initiative (NTI) has been developed in collaboration with the National Center for Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities at the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the Maternal and Child Health Bureau at the Health Resources and Services Administration, and Project LAUNCH (Linking Actions for Unmet Needs in Children's Health) at the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.
