ICI staffer, Suzzanne Freeze, joined with colleagues at the Spring 2018 OKDHS Case Management Symposium in Oklahoma City, OK. Freeze provided a keynote session and hosted two breakout sessions. The Symposium focused on employment supports expanding possibilities, facing challenges, using existing incentives and partnering for successful outcomes.

At the heart of each symposium is the goal of promoting and infusing person-centered thinking and use of person-centered tools into all support-related activities to improve the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This event provided an opportunity to highlight employment-related innovations in the field of IDD and strengthened Oklahoma's case managers' leadership skills. The symposiums were well attended and will continue in 2019.
